I heard NYC is getting pounded. I loved working there and having to leave work early because they predicted 3-4 inches of snow. Great stuff.

It's odd living kind of close to Maryland. They close their schools if the weather man says snow. The schools in Central PA don't ever close. I'm pretty sure if the school was under 6 feet of snow they'd just have the kids dig tunnels.

I heard NY already spend their 30 million dollar snow budget. Someone is making a shit load of money. Ever see the Today Show in the morning? The always have an overhead camera on the street. I've noticed they can get a foot of snow the night before and the streets and sidewalks are nothing but damp. I kinda think they go the extreme when it comes to cleaning up the city. I don't recall any streets looking like that in Center City Philly. As a matter of fact I remember walking to work in dress shoes in the snow and ice quite a bit.
