I plan on making another attempt at finding a beach and relaxing. This I know for the weekend. I also believe there is a small car show we may attend.

Lol. Sorry. My world continues to be busier and busier. Starting to consider a major life change for the first time ever. Thinking about exploring moving to a foreign country in an attempt to make big bucks. Working on certifications now to become more marketable. Hell I've not worked on my résumé in 19 years.

If I decide that it would be a good thing to move, she is on board. If we move, she gets to be a housewife which is a very good thing for both of our quality of life. I am considering Dubai. But the money needs to be as good as I have been hearing.

Yeah. I'm hearing that I should be able to bring in 250-300k per year and most jobs come with housing, food, and travel. I've gotten to work with some CCIEs lately and I've determined that I'm better at what I do than most of them. Then I look at my job which I do enjoy, but I know I am not going to make much more and frankly I know I can do better financially. We don't have kids and our folks will need us in a few years so now is the time if we are going to take a chance.

Sounds awesome. With our lead network engineer gone as of two weeks ago I'm rolling into some of the stuff that Pokes works on. I know if I keep going with it that I'll be able to ask for a bit more. I know it's not going to bring that kind of money, but I don't want to live outside of the country.

No. We just upgraded internally with new Cisco units, but my boss still is the guy that configures those. Since I do Small and Medium business my clients generally don't spend the money. We usually just sell them Ubiquiti wireless. You get 3 devices and a software controller for like $200.

How is the ubiquiti stuff? I had a buddy install it a while back and he complained a lot. But the cost is tough to beat.
