I can't wait for the WBC. I might get a USA jersey if they are nice.

I also can't wait for baseball to start, even though I HATE the Pirates offseason moves.

2 weeks for pitchers and catchers

I heard that the US viewer interest in the WBC wasn't very high? Sucks for the Canadian team, our best starting pitchers aren't "allowed" to pitch

I so wanted to go to Spring Training this year. We were in Tampa a few weeks ago and I drove down to Bradenton and past the Pirates training. I also drove past the Yankees training complex. Spring training is awesome.

they do want to play. their employers won't allow them due to possible injury. The same thing happened last time.....its BS if you ask me. The same thing happened with Steve Nash and the Mavericks/Suns
