My shoulder has a dull numbing pain.

I was playing basketball at the gym last night, I went to steal a pass to my guy, my left hand got the ball and I tried going to my right, he grabbed the ball with both hands and went to my left. His two out powered my one and my left shoulder popped out of socket. It hurt. I had to pop it back in like Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon. I have never had this happen before. So I am walking around trying to stretch it out and have my arms up over my head, and it pops out again!!! So I have to pop it back in again. This sucked.

Now I will not be able to play basketball or lift anything with my left arm for 2 to 4 weeks. What sucks even worse, is I am rather competitive at sports and play hard without thinking. Now I may dial that back a tad knowing that my shoulder might pop out of socket again.

I did take today off as a sick day though.

How sick to do you have to be before you decide it just isn't worth it to struggle through work?

That sucks...and it sounds VERY painful...you have to take it VERY east for a while...

It was rather painful. I hope it never happens again. How far east should I take it? Jersey? China?

I have one of those burning headaches like I am trying to run a fever. If I puke, I'll probably call it a day. I usually try to tough it out, but I am having a difficult time keeping my eyes open because my head hurts so bad. I haven't called in sick all year... (which, BTW, I didn't get jackshit for my perfect attendance this year!! :riot: )

you can export your bookmarks and it should save it as a .htm file. in IE it's under file import/export. I know it's not to a word file but maybe you can then open the file and copy and paste to a word file.

The first 4 years I worked for my company I lost 5 days off each year b/c I never called off sick. Fuck that, I get 5 paid days, I am using them.

you can export your bookmarks and it should save it as a .htm file. in IE it's under file import/export. I know it's not to a word file but maybe you can then open the file and copy and paste to a word file.

You can still open an htm with word. If it's Firefox it already saves the bookmarks to a single file.

So I was supposed to get my windshield replaced today for a 3 foot crack in the glass. Another reason why I took a sick day. Just got a call and the windshield they ordered came in broken. So now I have to wait until Saturday since I can't take off work tomorrow or Thursday or Friday to wait around for them. I told them they have to come early, they better be here and done by noon. :flame: :flame:

If they are in IE then do what Ron said. If they are right on your desktop then just copy all of them right to a usb drive. Better yet, sign up for a dropbox account (free) and copy them there.

I once ordered a glass door for a school bus three times and it was cracked in shipping The bus came 2 hours south for that door, i felt bad for the driver.

I don't have sick days to use. I'd have to use vacation time. I think I have 3 days left. Part of the reason I have good attendance, because I don't get paid to be at home when I am sick.

Oh Pete...you know what I meant...EASY!!!! Take is easy...besides I would send you South so you could be warm. (Maybe not this week though, I hear it's like only highs of 60's in southern Florida.)
